DESCRIPTION:This year is a special anniversary for our wonderful J.W. Walker & Sons Organ here at St Paul’s.\nOn Sunday\, the 23rd of June in 1865\, the organ was officially opened with a gala concert to a packed audience. We are proud that after careful restoration and maintenance\, the J.W. Walker organ remains fully functional and beautifully voiced in our historic building. \n\n\nOur organist\, Jack L. Stacey\, will host a special anniversary concert on Sunday\, the 22nd of June 2025\, at 2 PM AEST.\nEntry is by donation\, and all are welcome to attend this momentous occasion.\n\nParking is available behind the church via St Paul’s Way (off Victoria St and Barkly St\, Bakery Hill)\, where a wheelchair-friendly entrance can also be accessed.\n\nAlso\, visit our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/StPaulsBakeryHill/ for additional info and updates.\n\nWe hope you will visit and enjoy the wonderful sounds of the organ powered by our talented organist.

Other entrances via Humffray Street and the Anglicare walkway from Victoria Street. \nYou can also purchase second-hand books to enjoy\, surrounded by your newly planted bloom. \nBring friends and family\, as well as boxes or bags to carry home your goods and have a fun day out. \n\nAdded attractions include a Second-Hand book room\, a Variety Stall and sausage sizzle.\n\n\nHuge variety of homegrown and potted plants\, cuttings\, seedlings and seeds.\nBottles of 2-litre worm tea are $2 each and more.\nCertain plants are priced according to size and rarity.\n\n\n\nPayment options: cash or EFTPOS (min $10)\n\n\n\n\n\nBeing our 170th Anniversary year the Church will be open to viewing.\n\n\nSo please put this date in your diary; whether it’s rain\, hail or shine\, a big welcome awaits with plenty of bargains!\n\nEntry is free.
