St Paul’s Church, Bakery Hill, invites you to the launch of Lives of Honour: Ballarat East and the Great War. The book examines the lives of 177 World War One soldiers who were closely associated with the church.

In publishing this book, St Paul’s acknowledges the assistance of a City of Ballarat Community Grant, and a Saluting Their Service grant from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

Guest speaker, Dr Carolyn Holbrook, Associate Professor School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Deakin University, has a deep interest in military history, and is the prize-winning author of Anzac: the Unauthorised Biography.
