On this day, we come to the central point of our faith. We observe and remember Jesus’s crucifixion and death, knowing that his death redeemed our sins and granted forgiveness in the eyes of God the Father.
The congregation is to enter the church in silence and await the beginning of the service.
There, the Liturgy of the Cross and the Proclamation of the Cross will take place.
The service begins on the 3rd of April at 3 PM, coinciding with Jesus’s death at the third hour of the afternoon, according to the Gospel of Mark. (Mark 15:33-37)
