St Paul’s welcomes Fr Graham Reynolds as our new Locum Parish Priest
I was born in Ballarat in 1950. My father’s family had been in Ballarat since the late 1860’s. However, I grew up in Melbourne.
I was part of an active Christian family and I sang in the Parish Choir from age 6 until I was 18. Then I continued to be involved in Parish life in a variety of ways.
I completed a Diploma in Catering and Hotel Management in 1968 and worked in the Catering Industry until I entered theological College in 1972 as an Ordinand for Gippsland Diocese.
After Ordination in 1975 I served in Gippsland, Wangaratta and Riverina Diocese until 2002 when I was Inducted into the Melbourne Parish of Box Hill.
All through my ministry I have maintained a very strong interest in Social Justice and Christian Welfare work. This led me to become General manager for Parish Partnerships and Community Development in 2009.
Since retirement in 20214 I have lived in Ballarat and worked for the Diocese in a variety of ways.
I am greatly looking forward to my time here at St Paul’s and trust that we will grow and journey together in Christ.
My first wife Judy died in 2016 as a result of the failure of a Bone Marrow transplant.
Since then I have married Grace, our family consists of 3 sons, all married and 7 grandchildren.
Much to our delight, 1 family now lives in Ballarat.
