Father Graham is Leaving

Dear Friends,

Change is afoot; some of you may have heard as some announcements have been made over the past week or so in different places. The Bishop has asked me to be the Priest in Charge at St Peter’s, Sturt St., Ballarat from the First Sunday in May. He is placing Ryan Austin- Eames there as a Deacon, who will also be working at Ballarat Grammar School.

The Bishop is appointing a Priest in Charge for St Paul’s, on a P/T basis, as of June and the Priest will reside in the Rectory.

Whilst excited as to what lay ahead, I will very much miss you dear folk.  I have had a very happy and satisfying 12 months at St Paul’s; you are a very caring and welcoming community of faith. I am sure that having a permanent Priest will help St Paul’s continue to grow and prosper as a Parish over the coming years.

My last Sunday at St Paul’s will be April 28th.

In Christian love, with my prayers for you all,

Fr Graham.

This weeks Quality

Alertness vs. Unawareness

“Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Mark 14:38)

This means being aware of that which is taking place around me so I can have the right response to it.
