St Paul’s Anglican Church Regent Cinema’s Christmas Film Luncheon

December 4 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

The Christmas film this year will be the classic WHITE CHRISTMAS.  To remind you, the story is about Singers Bob Wallace (Bing Crosby) and Phil Davis (Danny Kaye) who join sister act Betty (Rosemary Clooney) and Judy Haynes (Vera-Ellen) to perform a Christmas show in rural Vermont.  There, they run into General Waverly (Dean Jagger), the boys’ commander in World War II, who, they learn, is having financial difficulties; his quaint country inn is failing.  So what’s the foursome to do but plan a yuletide miracle:  a fun-filled musical extravaganza that’s sure to put Waverly and his business in the black!

Please arrive at 9.30 am for a 10am start.

Cost per person $25.00 and a gold coin donation.

Attendance Sheet is now available at the back of the Church.  Please put money in an Envelope (with your name and amount) and place either in the Collection Plate at Sunday services or give to Heather Clinton.

An enjoyable day out for us to get together and see a Christmas Oldie, with a delicious Christmas-themed high tea style luncheon afterwards.

Alertness vs. Unawareness

“Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” (Mark 14:38)

This means being aware of that which is taking place around me so I can have the right response to it.
